2. About the Service
MissingMotorbikes.com is a community platform that allows users to report stolen motorcycles, search existing reports, view theft heat maps, and receive location-based alerts. The service is provided free of charge to support the UK motorcycle community.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate and truthful information when registering.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Reporting Stolen Motorcycles
- You must only report motorcycles that you genuinely believe to be stolen.
- Filing a false or malicious report is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.
- You must be the owner of the vehicle or have the owner's authorisation to file a report.
- All reports should also be made to the police. MissingMotorbikes.com is not a replacement for reporting theft to law enforcement.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your listing, including photographs, registration details, and location data.
5. Content & Photographs
- By uploading photographs and content, you grant MissingMotorbikes.com a non-exclusive licence to display them on the platform for the purpose of aiding vehicle recovery.
- You must own or have the right to use any photographs you upload.
- We reserve the right to remove any content that is inappropriate, misleading, or in breach of these terms.
6. Listing Duration & Archival
Listings remain active for 14 days from the date of submission. After this period, they are automatically archived. You may extend your listing from your dashboard before it expires. Archived listings may still appear when using the "View Every Stolen Bike" feature.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading reports.
- Use the platform to harass, threaten, or defame any person.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or the Website's systems.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Website without permission.
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that:
- The information in listings is accurate or up to date.
- The Website will be available without interruption.
- Use of the Website will result in the recovery of a stolen vehicle.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MissingMotorbikes.com and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Website. We are a community tool and do not take responsibility for the actions of third parties or the accuracy of user-submitted content.

All original content, design, branding, and code on MissingMotorbikes.com is the property of the Website operators. User-submitted photographs and listing content remain the property of the submitting user.
